Class data:

  • Teacher:  Magdalen (lr.magdalene)
  • Lesson: Pronunciation - Lesson 3
  • Schedule: 08:30-

What we did today:

  1. Introduction / 1 min
  2. Pronunciation / 25 min

Summary:

Today's teacher, Magdalen, was a very bright girl. She made our textbook funnier so that we could practice not seriously. When the first word was out of my mouth, she found that I have an experience staying in the United States. She said I have American accents. What a surprise!
Speaking of my lesson, we used a textbook "Pronunciation Lesson 3" for today. It contains pronunciations of "s" and "z". I felt these phonetic symbols were not tough because I really could have understood the difference before this class. Maybe I should skipped this one, however today's lesson was great to review words and pronunciations.  The class style was very normal before a half of our  time, but very quick. After having done with the text, she suggest a kind of games that making up sentences with 2 words from each boxes; the text has boxes of "s"s and "z"s words for a pronunciation practice. It could spend fun time and could practice pronunciations.
