What we did today:

  1. Introduction / 5 min
  2. Pronunciation / 21 min

Summary:

Before my lesson, we talked about ourselves a little bit longer than typical lessons in Langrich.
Eddith is a student and studying for accounting. And she is still young, like 20 years old. She told me she have to go 5 years for an accounting course. That's what all I remember about her. She asked me where did I take my breakfast or not. I told her about a bit of my current study. I regret that I actually remember about before lessons because of sleepiness. So I decide that I must eat breakfast and wash my face before lessons. Speaking of today's lesson, I took a pronunciation lesson 5 as usual. This lesson's subject was "p" and "b" which were very easy to pronounce. Every time tongue twisters made me confused. This time was no exceptions. "Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers;" I found picked a peck of pickled was a hard part to speak up. so I practiced to pronounce the sentence again after through practice 1 to additional materials. I also found myself I really don't have knowledge of government stuff such as the words below in the "New words and expressions" section. I should study the words used for government things.

New words and expressions:

  • ballot
    • [uncountable and countable] a system of voting, usually in secret, or an occasion when you vote in this way.
    • [countable] a piece of paper on which you make a secret vote [= ballot paper].
  • parliament
    • [countable] [also + plural verb British English] the group of people who are elected to make a country's laws and discuss important national affairs.
